Hi! I'm Luchesar Iliev ˌɫɤtʃɛzˈar ilˈiɛv.

Starting with Solaris in the early 2000s, my main workhorse for almost a decade was FreeBSD, before I switched to Arch Linux around 2014.

I maintained the llvm-svn AUR packages and an unofficial binary repository for them for several years. I was also minimally involved in establishing the ArchZFS GitHub organization in 2014–2015. Since 2025, I've resumed a more active role as a co-maintainer.

I also maintain the Tier 2 Arch Linux mirror at the University of Plovdiv. It used to rank among the top 10 in the mirror stats, though today there are many faster and better mirrors — which is great to see.

Beyond that, I wish I had contributed more to the Arch community — so I consider myself still in debt.

I have a background in network engineering and security, though since the late 2010s, most of my work has revolved around DevOps, and more recently, some involvement in AI.
